The auction is from thailand. I hope somebody will contact ebay and Mattel so that this auction can be shut down. These cars have to be stolen. I'm very dissapointed that I saw this. The 67 GTO is my favorite casting. I wanted to be suprised when I found these cars.

Mattel and Hot Wheels need to get their acts together. The reps at the convention said they were going to crack down on this crap!!!!!!!! This is their chance. I hope action is taken. I'm tired of seeing all the cars Hot Wheels had before they are supposed to be seen. Every convention car other than the Finale car was well known long before the convention and they all appeared on ebay!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant. I did have fun in LA at least.'

Added on October 15, 2008, 10:09 pm'Mattel said they're trying to crack the Thailand ring that is doing this, but it's very hard as you can imagine. They said they cracked the Malaysian ring but the Thailand one has been more elusive.

They said this all at the Finale during LA Nationals and they said for us not to buy this stuff on ebay as it only encourages more theft. I know the person in charge of the Japan custom show is not happy to see all his special dinner 55 panels consitently on ebay for the last month.

Mattel is trying to do their best on this.'

They are aware of it and are working with the local officials.'
