When people bought Chery Eastar, change the seat cover, add some open POD filter, change to sport muffler, then put Mitsubishi badge (due to its Mitsubishi sourced engine), its wrong.

When AMG or Brabus bought a few unit of Merc, tune the engine, add some accesories, then put their own badge, its appropriate?

When Toyota wants to penetrate European and US market, they throw away their 'T' badge and they put 'L' for Lexus. Later followed by 'Acura' badge from Honda and 'Infiniti' badge from Nissan. Its appropriate?

Brand centric is good for marketing people but not very healthy for consumer. We should know Quality when we see one. Not swallowing every car with 'T' badge for example.

Furthermore, there's never any act written to prevent you from changing the badge on your vehicle. You can even put your name as the brand of your car.

When a pretty girl put on her make-up, eye shadow etc... she's not being herself but u can accept that because she's beautiful.
When an ugly or weird-faced girl put on her make-up, try to be pretty, you hate it. Coz she's not pretty. And she looks cheap.
