Name of App: Live Poker

Compatibility to iPhone/iPod Touch: Both
Your own personal description of this App:

If you liked Texas Hold'Em, you're going to love this one from the same game developer. As opposed to Texas Hold'Em, Live Poker is essentially an online based game because you can only play when you are connected to the Internet. They dub themselves the largest casino in the world as you are connected to other poker players around the world from various existing platforms namely Facebook and Myspace. If you notice the screen shot above, it says 75,763 players online. It went up to around 85,000 while writing this review.
For those familiar with Texas Hold'Em, Live Poker has a very similar horizontal view but with a few extra buttons for online interaction. Of course, the vertical view is absolutely non-existent here though it would be VERY impressive if it did.
The game is beautifully done and laid out in a very intuitive manner. Game play is smooth as well. I will explain more of the features with the following screen shots:

Oh look! What a lucky first hand.

Chat features which draws up the keyboard when tapped on.

If you see a hottie, you can actually buy her a drink!

Now I know this game can be addictive but if you run out of chips, let's hope your gambling bug doesn't bite and you end up actually paying for extra chips. Just so you know, for everyday you connect to this game they give you 1000 in chips. You even get extra chips for inviting poker buddies. More than enough for your daily poker fix, wouldn't you agree?
Pros:
> Sophisticated and beautiful game design.
> Intuitive layout.
> Easy to use.
> Great interactivity features should you choose to use them.
> Great for both quick pick up games as well as long drawn out games.
> Long game interest lifespan. How do you get bored of this?
> Feckin hell...It's Free!
Cons:
> Must be connected to the Internet to play. No offline mode.
> Can be a very slight bit sluggish in very rare instances during game play. Might be an Internet connection problem more than anything though.
Personal User Rating: 10/10 Where else do you get a great app like this for free?
Conclusion:
What else can I say? If you haven't started downloading the game into your iPhone, I'm not quite sure what's wrong with you hehe... It's a great app and you don't have to pay for it. There is a paid version of this game retailing for US$9.99 which starts you off with 40k in chips but heck, you don't really need it with the daily 1000 chips allocation.
