depends on the model. I think standards are under 2K. Probably 1.5 - 1.8K if im not mistaken. Never bought one though.
I would recommend trying the Epiphone Ultra-II, its a little pricey (2K+ in Malaysia), I've tested it and its pretty good. Sound-wise its similar to the LP standard, but it also comes with an acoustic pickup. Acoustic sound quality pickups aren't that great la, but they give you the 'thin' fender-ish sound, which is pretty cool considering you can have a larger range of tones. Wood is similar to the LPs, just that its chambered, which makes it lighter. Sustain is good (similar to the standards). Slim neck, comfortable for playing. Really versatile guitar for a pretty reasonable price. Oh and it looks damn sexay in black! http://www.epiphone.com/ultraII/default.html |

seriously overpriced there. even the epi LP custom classic is about RM3.5k+. normal epi LP std also at least rm2k there. |

I know the person who owns a music shop in MidValley, they mark up prices openly because they need a profit to cover their rental.

It's located opposite Sri Damansara. If sri damansara is on the left of the LDP highway, then Desa park city is on the right. Do a google search for 'menuetto music', they have an address. I found the place using google maps. |

It's located opposite Sri Damansara. Woah, I live in Sri Damansara and never even knew that DPC had a music shop. I have got to check that out!
