depends on the model. I think standards are under 2K. Probably 1.5 - 1.8K if im not mistaken. Never bought one though.

I would recommend trying the Epiphone Ultra-II, its a little pricey (2K+ in Malaysia), I've tested it and its pretty good. Sound-wise its similar to the LP standard, but it also comes with an acoustic pickup. Acoustic sound quality pickups aren't that great la, but they give you the 'thin' fender-ish sound, which is pretty cool considering you can have a larger range of tones.

Wood is similar to the LPs, just that its chambered, which makes it lighter. Sustain is good (similar to the standards). Slim neck, comfortable for playing. Really versatile guitar for a pretty reasonable price.

Oh and it looks damn sexay in black!

I know the person who owns a music shop in MidValley, they mark up prices openly because they need a profit to cover their rental.

I'm not sure if they raised the price already. yea its like a shopping mall (small one like centerpoint BU) in a housing area. It's located opposite Sri Damansara.

If sri damansara is on the left of the LDP highway, then Desa park city is on the right. Do a google search for 'menuetto music', they have an address. I found the place using google maps.
