It's a nifty monitor that displays great contrast at 1080p high-def resolution. The speakers are crap though but thank god that you can attach your awesome speakers into the microphone jack on the left side of your monitor. Once you plug your speakers into it, the sounds don't come out of the 1watt speakers on the monitor. They will come out of your speakers. So you can connect your PS3 or 360 to the monitor using HDMI cable and then connect your speakers to the microphone jack on the monitor to enjoy an awesome gaming experience. The monitor has a pretty decent customization features/options for the Standard Mode, so you can tweak the contrast, brightness, etc. there. 2ms response time ensures a great picture quality while viewing movies or playing games.
The screen looks sharp, clean, and very beautiful. The outer cover is a nice glossy black. You can have the monitor stand up on your desk or buy a desktop mount and mount the monitor above your desk or on the wall. The only small issue I have is the annoying extension stand that is designed for the monitor stand that you place on your desk. It angled in a way where your cables (HDMI, VGA, and DVI) will have a slight difficulty in plugging in. But once you force them in, they stay there tightly.
E2200 also boasts the EnergyStar quality - this means that it does not consume as much power as other HD monitors/LCD TV's, etc. And at a mere 10 pounds in weight, it's very easy to lift up. My old 19" LCD monitor was far heavier than this one.
The price is decent for a high-def monitor such as this. So far, I'm quite pleased!
