 Vista file copy problem

Hi. I have no problem with Vista except 1 --- copying files.

1. It's very slow.
2. File copied to backup drive are often corrupted. You wouldn't know it until you needed it.

What's going on?

It's already with SP1. Same problem. Mine is OEM Vista Ultimate on Dell pc.

same problem had with fiends PC
it had OEM Xp and Vista hp OEM
i think its a virus
if u can't get a fix ....formatting is Ur cure

sp1 also got same problem this is the beauty of vista accep it use it more longer u will be not feel this problem anymore ^^

My boss machine lagi got prob, when not sp1, slow copy. When upgrade sp1, the slow copy prob fixed but now cannot access network resource.

For those interested. File copy problem has been solved.

As I said before, it has nothing to do with SP1 as some suggested. Turning off "Remote Differential Compression" function solved the problem. It's now as fast as XP.


 

Change to:
