For an entire year, I have been preaching to people NOT to start or try WoW. Here I am now, all excited about WotLK and my hands are itchy again.

But I have to say that WoW IS quite repetitive in terms of gameplay, the amount of time commitment needed to achieve anything. Be it a drop from heroics or a raid, i can run a heroic 20+ times before I get what I freaking want (Thats luck). How about collecting points for an Arena piece.. But even though we know its repetitive and tiring to repeat the same sh*t over and over again, we still do it.

Why, why do we do it. I suspect the developers of WoW have encoded some kinda hallucinating graphical phenomena that keeps us addicted. Players quit, players come back. Players REALLY quit..... and then they come back again. Seriously, after 1 whole full year of WoW negligence. I find myself totally obssesed with WoW updates and forums again, and I will play WoW again come November 13th.

So yea, what is the conclusion. Is WoW dying out? All games die out. But I hear and see alot of people "quitting" and returning to WoW, much like cigarettes, and I am one of them. WoW is a drug. Someone save me.

Arena is PvP which gets you rewards for being decent... And to be decent, you need decent ping/latency, decent knowledge on all classes, excellent knowledge on your own class (You DID spend 70 levels leveling that char) and decent teamates.

I don't understand what's so hard about arena. I just don't understand how those people with 50-100ms can suck so bad. I get an average of 650-1000ms. So yea, I suck bad.... Even at duels when im totally specced for PvP.
