Heres the situation, I'm fixing the driver for my pendrive in vista, then i del the usb root hub driver in device manager, after that the mouse and keyboard is not working anymore. I use usb mouse and keyboard, even i change to p/s2 mouse and keyboard also not working. Not even working in safe mode. But mouse and keyboard are working in bios. so i assume that the driver in vista is causing the problem. but i need help in that area.

Well you can press F8 and try to use the last known good configuration and it should work automagically. The other method is by using VNC or Remote Desktop , that is if you have it enabled

Bad driver install is my guess. Uninstall your pendrive driver. You don't need it in Vista.

PS2 mouse/keyboard would only work if they are plugged in before the OS is booted. So if you want to use that for a while, restart the PC. For the USB, try using system restore to get the windows back to a time when it's still working. That's what I usually do :3

Have u try reinstall the usb root hub driver ? Or have u try plug another usb device for vista to intall the driver?
