Good morning !! thanks for ur great effort and time man..
but as u can see... i jus want a decent 3.0 ghz .if u read my first post..lol..nvm...really appreciate ur advise..
fyi..my max load (during Wprime test) is already 70c (realtemp) on the first 2 core.
for more information.. CPUID shows my CPU voltage is at >1.39v.
So i thought i should jus stick to 3.0ghz (until i get a good third party cooler to max it out like 3.2ghz ).. At the moment i tested on crysis warhead for 30 minutes and my CPU temps shows only max 60c although for some ppl..it still consider hot..
To cut it short, Since i'm stable at FSB 333mhz @ 3.0ghz ..Do i need to tweak my ram stuff ? ( i will test on IBT* Memtest later after work)..
after that i'm good and happy already..
And onemore thing, should i adjust the PCI to 100Mhz?
Kindly please advise..Thanks.......
u mean CPU-Z show ur CPU voltage at 1.39? it cant be so high, wif 1.39 V, i can do 3.4ghz i think. ur CPU vcore set auto in motherboard BIOS is it??for mine,if 3.0ghz, i set at 1.2625V, 3.2Ghz at 1.31V at bios.but as u can see... i jus want a decent 3.0 ghz .if u read my first post..lol..nvm...really appreciate ur advise..

if u're using stock cooler, suggest u change it. most ppl wif Q6600 dont use stock cooler as the proc is so hot.oh yea, if u're doing 3.2Ghz, suggest u do 400X8 set up instead of 354X9.reason is,wif 400X8 setup, u get 1600FSB. for quads, its actually 2 core2duo fitted in a package call core2quad. these 2 core2duo proc communicate wif each other through ur FSB. so i think higher FSB does benefit the quad more. and 400 FSB dun need to bump NB and VTT voltage yet.i'm using the 400X8 setup and its stable for 50 rounds of IBT.
