Yup, there are samples for display. I tried it on my ipod touch and i select some songs that made me high with their bass and it turned out to be very fulfilling. Sfrune is the best so far yesterday i checked. There quite few from Altec Lansing as well which i would also look forward in the future. It's cheaper but not so sure whether is it worth it or not.

Sfrune ear phones also not that bad though. The bass is excellent as well.

So u have discovered the Shure orgasm
Altec's bass is loud but not as well defined, controlled, accurate and tight as the shures
Also Altec's signature got a bit of scooped in the mid, so u get highs + bass
Try vocals on the altec then u know wats lacking

u may be able to differentiate whether the 330 is worth spending or not
if u cant spot or justified the differences
then get the altec i would say
