Dedicated Server Temporary Downtime

Our dedicated server is going to be offline for 3 days to help and seed up the latest CTDP file with max upload. Meanwhile, I'll will host the practice session daily from 9pm to midnight. IP will be announced.

ROUND 7 - Donnington Park

In conjuction of the Eid-Adha this coming weekend, The Advisors and majority votes have agreed to postponed the round to the nd of the season. Round 8, Johor GP will take place on the coming 14th of December. A special event might take place for those who are available this Sunday so stay tune.

Grid editting

Please be informed that if one go out of the server during the Warmup Session after the Sprint Race, any grid position will be demoted (start from the back of the grid). So it is advised pls be in the server after the Sprint Race and do not log out from it. If ure not in the server, it is not possible to place ur grid position.

IF u got DCed during the Sprint Race, u can rejoin for the Feature Race, starting last.

Paul Ricard Pit Exit

Admins have discussed and will scrap the previous pit exit ruling. Just be careful and check for outgoing traffic. Only that the rules apply to those who exiting the pits not to go over the white line.

Paul Ricard Pit Exit

Affective immediately, the pit exit here in Paul Ricard is a 'no fly zone' for all session except of course those who exiting the pits.

Exiting the final corner, keep the car to the left to avoid contact with possible racers who are exiting the pits from the left. The white line should not be crossed but there is a 2 wheels allowance for any case.

Test Race

There is gonna be a test race tomorrow night at 10.25 PM in Paul Ricard HTTT GT. This is to evaluate our server's connection. For this, everybody is required to download the Low Res skinpack before joining into the server. (Pls DO backup the original skin)

If ure lagging or found to be lagging, please take these steps as follow

1. Turn off AV, Firewall & etc.

2. Disconnect the modem & reconnect with new IP. Prefer direct connection without router. Remove the firewall built in with the router. Enable NAT.

3. Reduce graphic.

4. Reduce connection setting to Modem.

5. If all the above step fail, unfortunately, the lagger have to leave the server before the race. do not disturb non laggers....this is rFactor not CS or other games.....hahaha

Skin Pack

Affecting immediately, those who have installed the custom skin posted by Izznatta last nite must revert to the default skin, although we will not be able to detect those u would still be using custom skin.

New rFm

Get a new rFm file from here

www.malaysiansimracers.com/S7/S7rFm.rar

and read the instruction attached. For those who are new to rFactor, rFm file is the file that control most of the variables for the game. Changes being the speed of the safety car taken up to 120 kmh.

Race format

Timing for Sprint Race has been changed to 15 minutes and Feature Race to 45 minutes. Tire wear and fuel rules still 3x and 2x each.

Timing for Sprint Race has been changed to 20 minutes and Feature Race to 40 minutes. Tire wear and fuel rules still 3x and 2x each.

Race format

The Test Race 2 in Bathurst now will incorporate Sprint Race and Feature Race (Refer Race Schedule).
The grid for Sprint Race will be determined by Qualifying.
The grid for Feature Race will be determined by the result of Sprint Race and reversed grid will be implemented (Sprint Race winner sits last on the grid).
There will be no pitting allowed during Sprint Race.
A mandatory pit stop for Feature Race.

Race settings

Fuel will be set to 2x and Tyre wear to 3x.
