yeah, as unknowndevices said before, that shop was selling this phone. I was looking at that phone and did not realize it at first, but then found out that its quite familiar. haha. its t-mobile g1 phone folks! hmm.. is it around 3k?? huhu.. i thought i was priced lower than the iphone. sigh..

The phone was ok,no lagging and what i like is the full browser.
U can browse like normal desktop.
m2u works too.

the price is quite tempting.. RM2.4k... wanna try how G1 do the job...

It's a great phone, and the OS gives more kick

Yes I have. I have to say this phone is really not photogenic! The actual phone itself looks quite good actually, much nicer and sleeker than the photos on the net. of course it's bulkier than the iphone because there's a keyboard mar...i still prefer a physical keyboard.

The OS is really great, very responsive. I love the integration with IM, Gmail in the notification bar. Web browsing, while not multi-touch like iphone, is still great. The screen is crisp.

The thing with this is, you will need 3G connectivity to fully utilise this phone!

Planning to get it..it's £99 for the handset, on 12 months contract for £30 (inclusive of unlimited 3G Internet).

Finally jumped onto the Android ship. Am loving the phone to bits, best phone I've had so far.

The cons, the battery life is really really poor. This is mainly due to always-on 3G connection. Can be turned off though, but I really love the Gmail notification, Gtalk notification, esp when I'm at work where access to these are not allowed.

Web-browsing, the iphone definitely trumps this as this device hasn't got multitouch. But having said that I still love this Browser included here.

The handset is really nicer than pictured. You'll have to hold one to believe.

Swapping applications is a breeze - no lag at all. Music player is basic, but still good. Lots of 3rd party app available, and free games!

For RM2.4k, I think it's quite worth it! I paid more as I am with a contract. But got unlimited 3G so that's really cool.

dem... this made me want this android phone even more...

besides, i never thought off this phone being very ugly... i just kindda hate how it slide out.

i kind of like the way its slide out      like u-turn like that

will wait for price to drop further...

maybe TS shud list out all the proud owner of G1... its more easier to identify them if needed their assist...

TS is no longer here? I guess there is many useful tips and freeware available and also discussion bout this phone everywhere.. mind to update more info

I did a simple review on the G1 phone about a month back... lots of pix taken and some sample pix from the phone too.

I even included a emulator of Android for those who have not tried the OS before. Take a while to load tho..
