Heard that the Qmat method is quite sensitive to the brand of the SDcard.
Have you tried others SDcard?

And make sure the card is formatted to FAT32 hor.

--------------------------

ok, let try the manual way....

in you TE (terminal emulator)

type:

cd sys
cd class
cd mmc_host
ls (* this step is just to make sure your card has been registered to G1, after "ls" you should see some folders like mmc0 or mmc1)
cd mmc1
ls (* you will see some folders again, the last one should be mmc1:XXXX)
cd mmc1:xxxx
cd cid
cat cid (* write down the whole string) icon_rolleyes.gif

Come back let us know the outcome ya!! ^^

Congrats... ^^

You may look at the: Menu--> settings--> About phone-->scroll to the end --> what's ya Kernel Ver & Build Number?

Mine Hybrido is currently with Dude HTC Dream version + kernel 2.6.27.24 under toxygene.

JF only mod the official Cupcake from T-mobile/HTC.
HayKuro (was) doing the Sapphire/Magic/Hero ported to G1/Dream
The Dude is enhancing the 1.5 version, hybriding those available roms out there.

If you done with JF version, I may suggest you to try out the Google Ion rom from Haykuro.... it's just Too Fast Too Furious tongue.gif

Yes! I'm on Google Ion and its fast. Everything works so far. Haven't try Hero yet but I heard its gonna be laggy... too bad it doesn't have enough RAM. The new HTC Magic (RM2699! WTH) has 288MB which is unfair tongue.gif

Yes, check LYN front page. It was launched over the weekend at Zouk and at a price of RM2699 (too expensive). So this is official and no more T-Mobile stuff.

I'm using Dude1.3beta7 now.
Will test out Hero when my droid is ready for it ^^0

OMG, the official price is a killing! With 2.7k, I would rather go for two unit of G1, or maybe try out N97 since its almost a perfection. brows.gif

Seriously, If I want to go for the Magic, patience is a virtue!!

----------------------------

Think G1/HTC Magic users by now should notice that you can see paid apps in the Market ^^; -- > SORRY false alarm.
Still no paid apps seen. sweat.gif

Except for many free apps inclusive of useful and nonsense 1, the other 2 things are quite common for mobile phone now...

Yes same here. Which is why I like phones like the Palm Pre and Touch Pro2. Too bad Palm Pre isn't a world phone (its currently non-GSM). I always had the impression that physical keyboard is the greatest thing until I typed on iPhone/iTouch OS's virtual keyboard. Virtual keyboard still hold its place I guess. Of course WM's default virtual keyboard is a joke hahahaha!
