What’s New in Firefox 3.0.2

Firefox 3.0.2 fixed several issues found in Firefox 3.0.1.

* Fixed several security issues.
* Fixed several stability issues.
* Fixed a number of minor issues with the layout of certain web pages.
* Fixed several theme issues that affected right-to-left locales.
* Some users who have customized toolbars may need to reset them if they are missing the Back and Forward buttons ( bug 426026)
* Add new Extended Validation (EV) roots to Firefox 3.0.2.
* On certain IDN sites, the password manager would not fill in username and password details properly.
* Fixed several hangs and crashes that occurred when using screen readers.
* Fixed Mac-specific issues:
o Keyboard shortcuts would stop working in some cases.
o Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indic characters can not be entered (using IME) into text fields in Flash objects (bug 357670)
o Firefox 3.0.1 could not be used when the user profile is stored on an AFP directory (bug 417037)

autoupdate normally kicks in after a few days most of the time...so just wait 4 while lo laugh.gif don't become guinea pig...its not good laugh.gif

i just experience when i click at bookmark button, suddenly it want to bookmark the page.

happen on my firefox and my other pc's too, it is bug? as u can see, "bookmark this page" at the top one

err, one noob question here. I'm using Real player 11,which comes along with a download plugin. After updating tis new version of mozilla, it say that, cant support this plugin. U guys facing tis problem ??

If want the latest one, just use Minefield.
Its overnight trunk and I can say the fastest Firefox around. Usually after they tested those trunks successfully only will released on new version of Firefox.

1. What version are u using? If you are using 2.0, then FF3 is a good upgrade regardless of your computer spec, see nothing different in term of performance impact.

2. No, FF will auto find for upgrade or prompt u if some old plugin that is not compatible with the current release. password and bookmark will stay.

Do i have to uninstall this then reinstall with the new 3.0 version? Can it be done this way?

i hav 3.0.4pre

when i started the browser at the gran paradiso alpha start page it says that Welcome! It appears that you are running an early version of Gran Paradiso. We encourage you to download the latest and greatest.

but when i go to download the latest i failed to do so..
