there are 2 moderators from mfm that are in here. feel free to ask in here if you're nto comfortable over there.

MFMap if free for papagon and nuvi.
thats why buy original nuvi is always better than china made.

why better ?

becoz installing free map is easier, hazzle free.
just go the website, download then install.

for other brand so far i know have to do more, like crack or what.
correct me.

china made ones run on mostly garmin or papago. some igo as well.
most of the devices are on win CE 5 so they are capable of running garmin and papago, both at the same time.

leaving legit questioning aside, the china made devices can also use mfm maps which require no unlocking at all. they are cheap and appealing.

the difference between a china produced brand X and a branded reputable device is simply legitamacy and some hardware (chipsets and graphics processor).

yes it says for pc and gps
so for pc do we need a receiver?

GPS receiver you need for the car,so I don't think so you will put your PC in the car and drive.

I am currently using the Window CE device that comes with garmin, papago etc.

Recently i tried to instal garmin free map but half way through my garmin software hang and i switch off my device.

since then, my device has not been functionning properly i.e. i can use the map but at the searching address column, the address that i search, previously can, cant seem to appear and left only few address that have been pre-defined in the machine, such as, editor's add etc.

please help me
