Here is my setup :
Eclipse 1200 HU JBL 75.4 amp infinity reference component
when my HU doesn't play any song i can hear clearly the hiss noise, anyone know what is the cause of it? poor grounding? hiss from HU? poor RCA cable?

hissing sound can mean a few things
1. amp gain too high - for normal guideline, ur HU should hv 80% volume on and start amp gain from minimum
2. amp/HU might hv problem
ways to test 1. lower down ur amp gain and see does it solve
2. recheck ur power cabling, rca and spkr cables....
by the way, are u bridging ur 4 channel?
