Hi,
I was trying to take out my sim card today but the tray on top of the iphone where the sim card is in cannot come out.Tried to poke with all sort of things but it just wont go up.Any body encounter this same problem and how do i go about solving this problem.Does this mean that my simcard is stuck in my phone forever.Do u ppl know anybody or any shop whom can help me out????Any suggestion or solution would be greately appreaciated.

Use paper clip and poke through the hole, slowly put some force into it until the tray pops out. Don't use needle.

Or did you use some sort of unlocker SIM that goes along with the original SIM card chip? Then it must be too tight to pop out.

@ zacko

i can't determine until i see the actual unit. even though i just hope that you didn't damage the ejector with those sharp pins.

What if i have damaged it.Whats the next step......Let me mentally prepare for the worst rather than giving me a shock tmmr

@ Shock
crxr can definitely fix it. i have the slightest doubt.
anyway, one is trying to increase the SIM card thickness by putting a cellophane. the rest is pretty self explanatory.

Just met crxr a while ago, guess what???
Still cannot fix but hes finding a way to go about solving this problem. Most likely have to destroy the sim tray and get a replacement sim tray. Now have to figure out how to destroy the sim tray?
Any suggestion???? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif
crxr should be doing his research now, hope to hear some good news from him tmmr!!!
