tiger, if i really love him, i wouldn't treat him like an ATM in the first place.  if he's got the money and shower me with gifts i'll lum 9 sei.  but after that he say he no money cause too sayang me i'll throw the things back at him and say chun tou sei.

bebee, ppl around me also say... i'm too realistic more of a guy than a gal.  i've seen friends being hit by their guy until berdarah darah... and it always doesn't end well.  ppl don't change over night.  hoping and praying that they will appreciate the second, third, fourth and god knows how many chances you gives them will only leave you drained emotionally.  the same with cheating spouses.

tiger i always say... don't go way above what you make.  buy what you can afford.  i'm happy enough with a simple char keoy teow at pasar malam. 

over spending ppl does it cause of their ego.  they feel for a need to have stuff and live the lifestyle.

i have this friend.. she told me

if a guy ask her out.. as a friend.. she expects him to pay for watever they do.. on that day.. may it be meals, movie, karaoke or watever.. if he asks her and her friend out, he has to pay for both of them as well.. then she will always tell me got a guy bring her go makan at TGIF la.. this la that la.. he pay everything no problem.. once in a blue moon she spends them an ice lemon tea.
