
OBJECTIVE
Provide the participants with in depth technical information on concepts of DNS, configuration, operations and security.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is designed for Network Engineers, System Administrators, IT Associates, Entry-Level Professionals, Network Associates, Researchers and anyone who is involved in managing DNS operations.
PRE-REQUISITE
None; familiarity with LINUX/UNIX command line is useful.
Participants are required to bring their own laptop to practice the lessons learned during the training session with wireless connection and recommended to have a SSH client (such as Putty**) installed.

- Delegation of Zones.
- Stealth (DMZ or Split) Name Server.
- Debugging Domain Name Service issues.
- Basic introduction to DNSSEC

- Resolver Configuration.
- Building BIND.
- Configuring BIND.
- Recursive/Cache DNS.
- Authoritative DNS - Master & Slave.
- Creating Zones.
- Zone Delegation.
- Enabling IPv6 in DNS.
- Stealth (DMZ or Split) Name Server.

- DNSSEC-Zone Signing Only
