QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Sep 27 2008, 07:46 PM) yesterday my hamster was doing something weird...storing so much food in her pouch (until I can see santa clause cheeks) then throwing them out on the silent wheel Yes, they stored part of their food inside pouch. When 1st time, I saw my Jia Jia and Leh Leh throwing food out also a bit surprise. Added on September 27, 2008, 11:01 pm QUOTE(Sophiera @ Sep 27 2008, 10:18 PM) In an effort to make my hamster excersise more without buyng the excersise ball (last resort)... we renovated the cage and put THIS Your cage look BIG and nice [attachmentid=608769] TWO wheels If she bites the metal have to scrap the project and go back to old style lor. BTW, just wanted to agree it is never be EASY to snap our Jia Jia and Leh Leh's photo as they both are so active. After exercise from the exercise balls, they even more aggressive than normal.
Will post more of our hamster photo to share inside this community. So nice to see them running up and down. We even let them play inside dining hall and room |

QUOTE(Ifrits @ Oct 5 2008, 08:48 AM) hye ppl, i gonna ask a very very very noob question. and some might flame me for not reading the forum. but i cant just scroll page by page(actually i did). Just bedding side may have some little smell as we use corn base bedding. I think ham ham not that strong smell that I am aware of. We clean their cage daily so not significant smell I found in my Jia2 and Leh2. However u may need to take care of their poo poo as some may come out from cage overnights. Just put a paper outside the cage may help, I think i really really like hamster and i would like to rare one. but parents wouldnt allow me to because they say hamster is smelly? is it true? =( or they are just giving me excuses so that i wouldnt be able to rare one. I like the way the ran, the way when they eating their fruit is so cute |

Sorry to hear it dropped. I also found most of the time, they are very difficult to hold as they are AGGRESSIVE ACTIVE.
