Accessories and Toys : Wodent Wheel (If budget allows) , Water feeder , Hamster ball(for exploring) and a toilet.

Did I missed out anything ?

I would like to ask can I keep the hamster in my room aswell ? It's air-conditioned room though.

I read that change of temperature will actually leads the hamster to go into hibernation.
Since you say it's possible , then It'll be much better for me then as most of the time I'll be in my room after work.
For the Wodent wheel , Junior is better when compare to Senior ?

I found one shop that carries ZooZone2 , it's so freaking huge.
Should I go for Zoozone 1 or Zoozone 2 ?
I mean I dont wish to go for a 2feet guppy tank as I myself has rare it before and I not really fancy about it.

The pet shop got sell Syrian aswell , but he hardly got any golden color one.

There's even fully white color syrians , and it looks weird.
Anyone mind sharing what's the best time to get hamster ?

For those who're around Cyberjaya , please PM Vor as his unit is still available. White ZooZone2 is definetely better than the one in Ipoh which is Green and the plastic like a little bit yellowish already. I'm going out to make my purchases for the cage and accessories , Hamster will be later on.
I gotta jot down all the must buy list with the pricing guide from petshack aswell.

sangeles : I know gold color is common and I think it's nice , maybe I should gold with white one. Last time I pay a visit to my pets, they hardly got any pets inside. I'll give it a try again.

I went to a pet shop during my lunch hour and the keeper say that it's Winter gold. *alike in your picture , and huge too.

The Wintergold/Syrians in the pet shop is really big size , so I assume it's syrians. Please Enlighten me.

I know that Syrian is not called winter gold but the seller says that the hamster is Winter gold.
Is there any Winter gold without the stripe and with agouti colour ?

I think that is syrian but the seller doesn't know about it.
He even say that "I dont think you can find Syrian in Ipoh , or there is ?" then I tell him that there is.

That hamster I saw should be syrian then , agouti color , fat chubby , cute and seems healthy.


Sangels , Blurjoey : I know the location of the shop already , it's not near Jusco btw , quite far from there. The white building that you mentioned is United Overseas Bank. The nearest landmark is United Overseas Bank , or Hospital. After the roundabouts from Hospital and you'll see the shop in the left row of shops.

Althought your newly bought hamster is not syrian breed , you should appreciate it aswell.

What you're finding actually ?

There's a few pet shops in Ipoh and Ipoh is not that jam , so hunting around is not that hard actually.
But I doesnt have so much time to do it , that's why till now I still havent got my hamster.

Try the pet shops that sangels recommend , Behind Jalan Cockman , which KFC and The Store is located over there.
To be exact , find the United Oversea Bank , It's just beside it.

I bought dogs food from there before , but I din't notice if there's any hamster around.

Can you be more specific on the stuff you're looking for ? As you know , most of the pet shops have different stuff which varies.
If Plastic tank , I think everywhere also got.

Problem is , if you want to buy prestige or harry hamster , I found none so far.
I will try to visit another pet shop tomorrow and update you guys.

If you want buy bedding instead , they doesnt have the Breeder Celect either , so there's only Chipsi available.

Yes , they're winter white breeds.
Syrians shouldn't have the line.
They're cute anyway.
