1)yes my hamster are healthy, if ur hamster feel illness or wat u sure can sense rite, tats y some member do asking wat happen to their hamster. furthermore if u together with ur hamster for 2 years, impossible cant sense them if anything happen.
2)ur friend eat mcd everyday not related to my hamster pun.. my hamster not eat everyday or every meal..
3) u r not me or me hamster, u r not in the situation, so u don have any qualification to say am i failed or success.
4) as i said if they wan eat they will eat, if they don like they will refuse to eat.

vanssny: you can have your own opinion, but pls keep them to yourself because you might negatively influence other people in this thread who read what you wrote then feed their hamster rubbish then come crying "why suddenly my hamster died? I tot they got a life span of 2-3 years"

Agree with Iced. Vassny, we discuss how to keep our hams in top health and which healthy food to give them here. Since you insist on your way of bringing them up you should keep it to yourself. It kinda disagrees with what we encourage and discourage here. We want our hams to build muscles and good fat and not become a container of transfat which is available in most human food.

If someone's ham died of stroke or obesity or something cuz they follow your method, are you willing to be responsible? I'm sorry if it sounds very mean but I know people who feed junk food to their hams and when end up got disease and stuff, they cry and cry say 'why i never listen to you' and 'i was so stupid'. Cuz the disease could be avoided if she didn't feed them junk food.

Maybe there are 1 or 2 hams who can manage a good health despite those food. but I'm not willing to bet my ham's life on it and neither should anyone. If feeding them healthy can let them stay with me longer, even if it's just a chance, I will do it. I want them to have long and healthy lives.

@Aeon: Just give her more portions of food and more protein food like egg whites. You can't stop her from eating her pups and you can't possibly foster them. The chances of survival in your care is lower than 10%. They need their mother. If their mum just can't take care of them then there's really nothing we can do.

Also, try to keep her in a dim and quiet place with her pups. Maybe less stress will make her less likely to eat her pups. Good luck!

I heard there is this one black thing is it alfafa pellet in harry hamster that some hamster don't like to eat keke.. my hamster finished everything in prestige, but she just dont want to take the green briter bunny... so sad..

my hamster ate that black thing. I remember some of the things left was the brownish doughnut shaped biscuit...and a brown heart shaped biscuit. Maybe its the color

just asking...if i fed the gardenia white bread ok or not?..btw if the mealworm fat type one..how much should i feed to my white winter..since my stuart loves the mealworm so much it scares me a lot..he rarely finish his prestige stuff..eat the kuaci only..once in a while some nuts...but he looks healthy...gave some smoothies but still loves his mealworm so much....

Bread do not contain any nutrition which hamster need. So if you wanna give, just very small amount and once in a while only cos it don't give any nutrition to them although it's no harm just the bread itself without anything inside. Mealworms can feed in moderate amount, like 5 mealworms a day or 2 days. Prestige and smoothie have to give also as it's different nutrition to them. Mealworms provide protein and fat only where Prestige and smoothie provide all kind of nutrients for them, so you need to balance up when feeding. Just leave the Prestige in the tank and only top up when it's finish. They'll eat the rest after all the kuaci.
