don't bother her.. give enough food supply for the mother, add more nutritious food for her like tofu, boil chicken and fresh veges... dont touch the babies.. dun put the cage near noisy place.. leave them alone..

let's stop it.. it is hard for others to receive opinion, what is supposed to say is already said. It is up to individual if they wanna listen/believe or not. It is common sense that human food is not healthy for pets. Just pray hard for the unlucky hamsters, and new owners, please stick to good hamster food + fresh veges n fruits for your hamster.
Let's get back to our hamster talk. |

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Nov 9 2008, 03:08 AM) well, there's one in particular that she has started to abandon now...half a day already and she still hasn't moved this one back to the nest. She did with the rest hours ago... If it is too long I think you need to manually pick the baby back to the nest. Rub a spoon with their bedding, scoop the baby and put back into the nest. Do it silently wor.. |

yes, 1 syrian 1 house.. I thought you just say that sometimes they hate each other? They got no choice but to tolerate the others in the house, but if they own their own house, they will be happiest.

quote from first page:
QUOTE The most important rule about Syrians is that they are SOLITARY... never house 2 together. If breeding, there is a way where you must put the female into the male's cage only when the female is on heat. It is very risky and dangerous to house 2 syrians together at any time since they are very well known to fight till death. So if you treasure the life of your hamster, never put 2 syrians together. |
