i think i just bought myself an adult satin female which could be pregnant for rm2

luckily I separated my hamsters before damage could be done banyak eating own babies here...

but my case is, 2 female stay together at 1st. when one of them give birth, i din take out till the babies grow till 1++ months. the mama will take k of the babies. Another 'aunty' will feed the babies as well(as she also give birth 2day b4 the mama)

so different hamster difference case lar...

now my 'aunty' and baby girl stay together. fight this morning. and i separate them for a moment. ok after tat. but just now they had a fight again. the baby girl stay in the house. then no fight liao. T_T i got no cage to separate them liao >.< hope they can fren back lar ...

OMG...today around 1pm went out to MCdonald then go pet shack buy nutri food....At 4pm my sis called me and told me that my female WW came out from cage and went into my room walking around. LOL, just gave birth yesterday already so active. Forgot to close the cage after feeding. hahaha...luckily shes not hurt. thank god.

Anyone looking for satin syrians? Saw a few satins in PW in Great Eastern Mall.

Solid satin dove with no eye ring. Fur really shiny compared to other syrians in the tank.

Got 7 syrians already so didn't get Hurry get before someone don't know how to take care of them properly does!

Can't differentiate when they are still pup as they will not have hair or fur yet. Only can see whether they are short haired or long haired when they are about 2-3 weeks old. Males will have longer haired compare to females.

I think you don't know what is Syrians and their coat well yet. All the syrians are normal syrians unless they are deformed. Satin coat syrians is rare and difficult to find in Malaysia, that's why so many people are interested with it. Almost majority of our syrians here is long haired syrians. We can get long haired syrians easily rather than short haired syrians in those pet shops. I think their gene for long haired and short haired is 50-50 depends of the dominant gene the both breeding pairs have. Some are super long haired where some are just long haired and some even have long haired around their butt like skirt.

Added on October 14, 2008, 11:01 pmYou can take Putra LRT and stop at Ampang Park and take a bus going to Ampang Jaya (Metro 28 or any Rapid bus going towards Ampang Jaya), then tell the driver you wanna get down at GE Mall or Gleneagles Hospital. Then just walk across the road. Another way is take Putra LRT stop at Jelatek station and just walk straight out to the main road and you'll see the building from far (GE = Red Lion logo).

oh really ? yeah i dont think i know syrians that well.. just assume those creamy color as satin ive been searching in the net for satin syrian but still cant find a good picture of it..would u mind to show 1 ?

Like I said, it's rare to get Satin coat here, I also wish I can have 1, but too bad I can't have it when I found it as I already have 7 tanks at home with 6 Syrians and 1 Fat Tailed Gerbil.

satin is not a color, but the texture & coat type.. satin fur has a very shiny & wet look.. i agree it's kinda hard to find many satins here in M'sia..

My currently one is a little bit broken , slip off from hand , it fell and breaks.
