i myself love to doll up my eyelids with funky colors and work out ways to make my monolids more outstanding. do you? or do you use double eyelid stickers just to get your eyes bigger by 0.1 inch and to get a fold by all means?
discuss, girls.

personally i have single eyelid / monolids. but i love them although it can be quite frustrating to live in a world full of 'double eyelid = beautiful' thrown at you everywhere, from magazine covers to billboard models. so do you succumb to the pressure and try all means to get that little fold on your eye? or do you work your own natural beauty and try your best to make full use of it?

QUOTE(sE_vIxEn @ Sep 21 2008, 03:38 PM) personally i have single eyelid / monolids. but i love them although it can be quite frustrating to live in a world full of 'double eyelid = beautiful' thrown at you everywhere, from magazine covers to billboard models. so do you succumb to the pressure and try all means to get that little fold on your eye? or do you work your own natural beauty and try your best to make full use of it? I had one side double and another side single i myself love to doll up my eyelids with funky colors and work out ways to make my monolids more outstanding. do you? or do you use double eyelid stickers just to get your eyes bigger by 0.1 inch and to get a fold by all means? discuss, girls. Then i started using the stickers. Alot of work, irritating as well... And its definitely not pleasant to look at when you close your eyes. However, i started using stickers since high schools everyday. I get temporary double eye lids till the end of the day when i peel the sticker off. Not bad huh? But it depends on your condition also i guess. Anyway, after 2-3 years of my hard work, I finally got my double eye lids till now. No more hassle cos i wake with double eye lids every morning. But once in a while, If i dont get enough sleep or my eyes bengkak, that particular eyes will turn single again. And back to double the next day. Funny huh? But i still have very small eyes. You mentioned about applying different eyeshadows to your single eye lids right? Why not try eyeliners? One of my friend has single eye lid on one side too. And the other side double. She told me, she prefer to have eyeliners on the single eye lid's side. Its more appealing compare to her double eye lid, she said. Try it! |

You girls have any tips on putting eye makeup on single lids? I look down and put eyeliner and seems like a thick enough line but when i look back up, i cannot see the eyeliner at all. unless i put really really thick which ends up making me look ridiculous. eye makeup just doesnt seem to show on single lids. so frustrating.....

Why not try eye putti?
Well, I have single eyelid and I certainly am not happy with it. I have tried the stickers but I wonder why it doesn't work for me. But anyway, so I turned over to eye putti. It does look more REAL and better than stickers though. First, you should apply eyeliner on the eyes. Then add on with eyeshadow, dark ones. Lastly only apply the eye putti and there you go, Bigger eyes with double eyelid all done with make up as well. But yeah.. I have to agree it does take a lot of work. |
