Well, when WLM9 went gold and everyone has it, that will not be the case anymore. If I have WLM9 and I chat with someone who still use WLM8.5 (or Yahoo Messenger), you will see the default unthemed WLM9 window.

QUOTE
IF MORE THAN 5'000 USERS ARE USING IT, MICROSOFT WILL SHUTDOWN THE MSN/WINDOWS LIVE SERVICE AS STATED IN BETA EMAILS:
"If the build gets out too widely and starts causing problems on the service we may have to shut it down. We don't want to do that and we know you don't want that to happen, so please keep it to yourself."

Where did you see that?

It was on their site and now they say they gonna shut down the MSN server?

WTH???

I feel like changing back to 8.5. 9 Beta is too bulky.

I think it's a better idea to use 8.5 for now.

Messenger Beta still have too many bugs.
