Well, sorry for interrupting....
What is NEBOSH? and how do i apply for it? is there any requirement needed?
I've heard of it....but i'm still a little bit confused with the NIOSH....are these two are really the same or else?

NEBOSH is international accreditation where globally recognized, NIOSH offers SHO cert for those who planning to work in Malaysia only.
both related to OSH and basic requirement is money, lots of it. biggrin.gif

is hso with engineering degree more demanding?
How about hso with biotech degree?
I saw most of the hso require engineering

market demands sho with experience

from my point of view,
your engineering background MIGHT show you are capable to do better analysis and problem solving
as you were exposed to those technicality BUT! you may face conflict of interest later on.
and yes, your degree is counted during recruitment process as an added value no matter which field you are from

for your info, to take SHO course from NIOSH only required credit in SPM whistling.gif
3 years exp then qualify to register with DOSH
