If truely there is a wireless decoder, then it would solve the problems of putting in the cable from the dish to the decoder, which may require hacking of wall, etc,............ Don't need to pull the cable anymore !

Anybody knows please ??

if theres such a thing, u might need 2 decoders since the one we are having now is no way capable to send signals wirelessly.

but im interested too if such a decoder exists

yesterday installer from Astro came to install Astro at my house...

i did mention that i want it to be accessed at 3 different places instead only at my tv hall.....

so he did say that there are 2 options to do so....
whether to have wired...which require splitter to be installed down the roof...
and pull all the wire to different places that i require

or....

use the wireless one...
which will cost me more...
as it require a centralised decoder with so call as wireless access point function....
and the rest of the dummy remote terminal can be placed at my desired location....

as i'm planning to save cost....
i just ask for the wired one...
and no question regarding the wireless one...

in short.....
such technology does exist....
can try ask Astro directly on the costing part....

Jalan Pasar sold range from RM80-RM150. If you have problem buying that, can ask astro installer buy and install for you.

May i know your wall point for astro is from the dish or from the decoder?
U need set of sensor for each locations.

(1) the is one dongle to be glue on the decoded screen (where the time shown)
(2) from the dongle lay one 2 core cable to your remote tv location

just like that

the core 2 wire was connected to the dongle where u glue it on the astro decode (where the time screen is) then at the other end was the sensor (where your tv is). just use astro remote u can control it.
