im driving Kelisa,if i use this filter,can it prevent the smell from outside coming in?and where exactly the filter box is?

already received the package.i didnt know have to cut something off in order to place the filter,after i re-read ur instruction then only realize.haha..my house got no sharp blade,so have to go shop.fit perfectly.thanks.
