Hello,

i'm very interested to get a GPS phone. Been carrying my leica GS20 around, which is bulky. I'm wondering will any smart phone has the capacity to support GIS software like ArcPAD? Also, will existing GPS phone be able to give GPS reading for 'off road' condition. Means if i am standing in middle of a football field middle of a felda settlement instead of on Jalan Bukit Bintang, will the phone still able to get my location? As i understand, currently most phone GPS are A-GPS, so if off road, will it still be able to function well?

Another question, if smart phone can support GPS as of GS20, will the phone be able to receive JUPEM's MyRTKnet DGPS correction?

I'm looking at Nokia E72. Any comments? thanks.
