I'm planning to buy a Garmin device but it is refurbished, so the price will be cheaper. May i know wats the difference btw the original and refurbished unit in term of the performance?
*
i doubt there'll be any any performance difference. A refurbished unit is just a repaired one.

MFM is not good enough in borneo period.

1 - register as member
2 - use a tracking device
3 - start tracking
4 - upload tracklogs to appropriate thread
5 - done !
please use the appropriate device for tracking. whether hardware or software. 1 sec tracklogs are best.

i'll be heading to sabah for a 5 day holiday and get some tracking done. if u collaborate with me, we'll cover the area without clashing into each other. saves time, work and money. i'll try to finish up kundasang and ranau area. u can have any other area apart from those 2.

I'm in Sarawak, so no clashes with yours. smile.gif will test drive it tomorrow. but i'm confused between malsing and MFM, right now leaning towards MFM though, since I'm using their maps thumbup.gif

does it matter who's stronger ? earlier u already told me, enough to navigate through major towns. cukup kan ?

I don't want to upload to a group that might stop updating in a few weeks. Tracked around 100km worth of uncharted MFM roads these few days.

besides, MFM claim malsing are copying their maps and vice versa. so it's hard deciding which to contribute to ...

politics isnt something to dwelve into. a tracker and mapper does not have ulterior motives other than to provide free maps to the community. wherever/whomever you contribute to is irrelavant. its your ulterior motives and therefore your's is questionable. stimix and many others contribute to both at the benefit of society. its not a hard thing to decide anyway.
*
It's probably useless asking you which community is still going strong then.
doh.gif

jeez, if you can't answer a simple question then quit acting all arrogant. since you're still a newbie around here, i'll direct my query elsewhere.
