no problem at all... even for a phone GPS has no issue, i dont see why a dedicated GPS unit will have problem.

actually yes, GMXT allows you to choose the format of keying in the GPS coordinates as you prefered. Best of all, no need to do maths! : 1) Go to "Settings" 2) Select "System" 3) Scroll down to "Location Format" 4) Choose your desired co-ordinate formats! Have fun Navigating!

Q1: if i use A-gps, telco charge me rite?...how baru can avoid being charged using gps?.. Q2: can i have the option of downloading the maps into my phone/memory card, and then whenever i wanna serach for direction, i serach it in the phone memory without connecting to any internet/data connection?.. q3: for those dedicated gps, do they get charged too when they use it to navigate?.. 1. what phone you're using? 2. what GPS program you're using in your phone? 3. this answer will depend on 1 & 2 above.

on top of the answers given above, you may go to Nokia 5800xm's FAQ page on GPS issues, since you're using 5230 which is similar to 5800xm.
goodluck.

I was wondering since we're nearer to the satellite, shouldn't the gps signal is clearer too? Until i remember that yeah, it's the speed that the gps device fail to catch up with... I was on airasia flight to and fro langkawi.
