nokia 2730 classic can use free gps? thanks.
*
nokia 2730 classic has no integrated gps...

so no way to use gps..

if you still want navigating.. use the google maps... but you still need to online , so it required data connection to load the maps..

hey guys, need a little advice here. I am planning to get a GPS, some Garmin Nuvi (dunno wat model yet), but a friend of mine suggested that I get a handphone with GPS capabilities. Cant make up my mind, would a phone with GPS function as well as a Garmin Nuvi? For phone, Im considering Nokia e73.

any charges for using a phone GPS? (sorry if im asking nooby questions)

thank you all.

i think garmin nuvi is better, for phone we use garmin mobile xt which has been discontinued so no lane assist and junction view feature, nuvi has these useful feature.

driving in kl without lane assist is difficult.

just go for garmin-asus nuvifone.. it is better...

actually.. it has no charges.. but it depends on the setting...,if u enable go online , enable a-gps .. then.. you will be connected to connection[internet] during navigation.. it helps gps performance though..

yes.. it also can be free..

if u mean garmin nuvi [standalone device] .. yes it has better performance and no charge at all... thumbup.gif

yes e73 has gps too.. but well maybe you wont satisfied with the screen and gps performance

so... the garmin-asus phone is the answer wink.gif

Depends on what you wanted.

If you do not need phone function, then surely a dedicated Garmin Nuvi would be better.

If you do not need to carry a GPS in your pocket like only use in car, then surely Garmin would be better

Common sense.

garmin mobile xt runs only on symbian, palm and windows mobile, so if the phone runs on any of the OS, it will take garmin.
