I see. Is this proven or still in theory? As for reload. What is the lowest amount of reload allowed?

Rightly put dude. It's about branding. There are people out there willing to pay a premium for that. It's like clothing. You can do with a RM8 T-shirt from Petaling Street but there are people who are willing to pay RM1000 ++ for Gucci and Armani .....

Some people want to use maxis just because

1. They can AFFORD it
2. They don't mind paying for a stable service.
3. Paid by their companies

So, when you talk to people with maxis and brag about how cheap digi is, bear in mind that they may think that you are just a bit 'kiansiap'... know what I mean....

If in business circles, you might want to think twice before you tell other peope you are using Digi... people might just think that you are cheapskate.... not good for business image......

Has anyone got their D'campus plan being switched to normal postpaid plan by Digi?

How would Digi determine that one has graduated ? Some university courses are 5 years, some people repeat their subjects , some people 4 years.

will any sms be sent?

I asked Digi , they told me they would convert D'campus plan to the normal Digi postpaid plan once I "NOTIFY" them.

I think this is rather preposterous as nobody would notify digi that they have graduated from Uni (to enjoy the unlimited data plan RM30 a month).

how does digi ensure that this system would not be abused?

TQ for clarification.

Of course DiGi Campus is much better than MTV Powerpack.
For MTV Powerpack, you need to pay a subscription fees for free SMS to your FnF.
DiGi Campus offers free SMS to all your 11 FnF with no cost. Which one is better? smile.gif

if only this sort of plan is available when I was in college 10 years ago!!

at that time, have to pay RM2.50 /min to call from KL to Sarawak. blink.gif , and digi prepaid startup cost RM99, no sms function yet. Reload RM100 minimum , valid for 90 days only.

you young people so lucky...

Digi Edge is known for its stability. For RM30/month it's really affordable. However, if you are looking for speed, you should go for 3G internet rather than Edge-based.

I have tested all Edge and 3G, and I can confidently say that 3G/3.5G network give you a better surfing experience than Edge. 3G hits the 384kbps speed consistently, and it's similar to Streamyx in some ways.

However, if you use Edge, you can 'feel' that you are surfing on a wireless network - slower response and the higher ping. Webpages take a few seconds to load (but they do load successfully) with Edge.

Nevertheless, for RM30 and unlimited data cap, you cannot complain much really.

Personally, I would pay a bit more to get 3G/3.5G based network than Edge.

Maxis has a RM48/month plan for youth (18-25 year old) with 2 Gig limit. It's not a bad deal but too bad I am too old for that!
