How is the speed like if connected under EDGE??
*
EDGE uses 2.75G that has a maximum speed of 230kbps. smile.gif
It is sufficient considered for light Internet surfing though I use it to download my daily dose too. tongue.gif rclxms.gif
The sequence goes like this: HSDPA>UMTS>EDGE>GPRS

@Raki
I think you go to any digi campus participating outlet you can get this package already by using your student ID.
*
Only participating universities are eligible for this. Even if you go to the participating outlets, they are only involved with the selected universities.

QUOTE(yshear @ Jul 8 2009, 12:03 AM)
is the 'free surfing' in d campus plan same as the Digi EDGE plan which is UNLIMITED?

Yes, instead of paying RM 66/month, we are paying only RM 30.00 smile.gif

actually dcampus no good compare to other campus plan

it not give free 4 years validty as given by hotlink
*
It also gives 4 years validity if you are buying a new SIM pack. Else, the validity will be separated in term of year. One year once and lasts for 4 years.

QUOTE(he-sham @ Jul 10 2009, 12:10 AM)

No,i already ask they say 4 years is for digi campus plan
Not validity
try ask if u don't believe
*
Well, I already got my first year credit validity. smile.gif
There are people here who bought a new SIM pack and get 4 years validity. smile.gif
I'm not free to ask because DiGi Campus is no longer something I want, I just use it for my Internet and may abandon it to opt for DiGi 3G broadband. smile.gif

Broadband for campuses. rm58 for 3gb quota. You don't have to be a digi campus user to use it, if I read it right.
*
Yes, correct. smile.gif
This is a separated plan of DiGi Campus. smile.gif

i have a question for you guys especially fruitie since u are the TS..i was wondering, i was an ex student who has gone abroad and i still have my student id from my intec days (the place where i did my preparation)..can i use that old id eventhough im not a student there anymore? will digi cross reference with the Uni to check if im actually a student there? cause im thinking of using that id to get the campus..i need it badly..
*
They won't, as long as your university is in the participating list. smile.gif
By the way, does your card printed with any graduation date?
Have you exceeded 25 years old? Some outlets will check, while some won't. smile.gif

It is because DiGi is still using GSM 800 that's why it has two lines. When you are in an area which totally has no coverage at all, you may try to switch to other line. That is where we are lending other telcos' coverage.

As simple as that. Line 2 and Line 1 are the same just that you can only receive calls and SMS through Line 2 but can't make calls or SMS out.

I hope this helps. smile.gif
