The HTC Dream will be the first Android enabled phone to the market and it is slated for a Fall 2008 Release Date. You can expect the phone to have an exceptional list of features and specs to illustrate the power of Android, Google’s new open source mobile operating system.

Sources such as Forbes and Infoworld have leaked some preliminary tidbits that should wet your appetitie:
- Large touchscreen with haptic feedback
- Full QWERTY keypad
- 5 inches long and 3 inches wide
- Keypad that either slides or swivels for easy typing/texting
- Internet navigation controls below the touchscreen display

lol, well, i think its possible? its a new OS to break the market, there's absolutely no third party stuff available for it yet. which is why its around the price of iphone as well as iphone suffers the same problem.

there is already some free software to download.

even Moz. Firefox takes time to emerge as market winners ... so pls let Android has it hardcore fanz 1st laugh.gif

well ... this phone has received alot of support around other foreign forum or gadget website. It has its own brilliant spec as well

iPhone is nice becoz of its fascinating simplicity. but the skin can be applied on almost every phone now.

i expect Android will have thousands of skin and ultimate 3rd party add-on (something like PSP's homebrew).
Stability and compatibility issue has not been discussed yet though...

btw ... can we uninstall a smartphone OS and replace with others? particularly WinMo to Android

again IMHO i dun think its that great an operating system. still needs 2 - 3 years to fully blossom and have enough third party support.

win mo to android is being worked on in XDA

Wow... Google is really ambitious. If the phone is around RM600, definately will just buy one and try it out.

If not good, just resell it immediately, if good, use it as spare phone... can't go wrong right tongue.gif

no offence but its pricey for an overseas set. also please be aware, because its branded "T-mobile", SIS Malaysia will REFUSE to service your model even if you pay them. that is the risk of buying overseas sets. its up to u.

it's liddat wan lar. D $600 listed price in US comes wif 2 years contract n every month gotta pay a commitment of somewhere ard $80 if iPhone's pricing is any indicator.

I feel that RM2388 is a fair price considering d monthly payments n stuff
