I've tested Tip #6 and it works just great.Note that you'll have to use a cross cable to link up between your xbox and notebook. Good for me not having to shell out that extra $ for wifi adapter/wall ethernet adapters.

Have fun guys!

Mind me asking how u got it to work? I tried bridging the connection but after bridging the wireless adapter malfunctions. So what i did was delete the bridge. Now my wireless adapter stops working. WTF.... M using a Dell notebook to btw.

This is how I did it :
1. Select your "local area connection" and "wireless network connection", right-click and select "bridge connections"
2. Hook in your cross cable.
3. Renew your IP -
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
4. Once your done with the bridging, select both connections again,right-click and select ... remove from bridge(something like that). and you're done.

I'm using a dell latitude d620 to test this.

Been a while since I tried TVersity. Let me know how it goes with the on-the-fly video conversion smile.gif

Now I think I should see if it's possible to use both tip#6 and tip#9 together

Tip #6 and #9 working fine together. I've hooked up the xbox to the notebook via cross cable, and then with TVersity streaming media over. Transcoding on the fly works great now too. I remember trying it a long time ago and it wasn't as good then.
