rather than open new post here, have you read " newbie guide" at pinned topic..?i afraid that shifu will flame you bro, and as far as i know, there is not yet software for unlocking your iphone 3g,if the seller unlocked it for you, it means he using hardware unlocked which will make your phone sometimes no network and etc.( not stable )

try first to read pinned topic and also ask "Mr. Google" so he can tell you a lot of information rather than us..

I believe we all should only provide info related to the topic. If we r not sure or wild guessing, then better keep that in our mind only

I also suggest not to flame the thread starter past decision. I believe he learnt his lesson in hard way already n flaming will just make his situation worst.

Just my 2 cent, but I believe worth to ponder

bro,it happens some time.go to settings then choose the network you want to use.btw, what version are you using now?

did you update the firmware after taking it back?

coz after upgrading certain firmware,it changes the baseband and it will lock the phone again.(Correct me if im wrong)
