Hey, I'm getting confused by HTC between their Touch 3G, Touch Viva and Touch... They all seem the "same" to me...

QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Nov 7 2008, 10:09 PM) Dont worry everyone, I am sure ownership of this VIVA will increae. Cmon la give it a chance, its fairly new on the market and not many shops have it yet. Soon enough You can't be too sure. There may be more people out there owning Vivas but not online at LYN to confirm... |

QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Nov 8 2008, 05:14 AM) You know even the touch 3g coming out only has 256MB of memory. They'll take part of the memory for the PDA's own use, much like how you don't get your full 1GB storage on your USB Drive... Total viva memory=80.79+107.18 is not equal to 256MB as advetised in their product sheet. Man where did they extra 50MB go?? Can you put programs in the removable storage? maybe if you move it you might get more room. |

You seem to be struggling from a shortage of storage space...contact, sms, calendar on the device? wif just 256MB?? why cant they just let me store it on a bigger storage space... when u say data - i'm assuming microsoft office related data then...perghh... Added on November 9, 2008, 4:24 pm as i've mentioned b4. not for storing music/video since i got another device for that oredi... |

QUOTE(karwaidotnet @ Nov 12 2008, 12:54 AM) what does the E means on the top-right hand of the screen along wif the signal strength, battery power, etc? there is a time i notice it change to G by itself...then a moment later back to E Don't worry, the letter change is sometimes random, and it shows the available data connection. If your really wanna know if it's downloading anything, all you need to do is look at your reception bar, to see if there's a "mini" alphabet there, showing whichever data connection it's connected to. i'm suspecting it means Edge and GPRS but then i'm not downloading/uploading anything... |

QUOTE(ahnien @ Nov 12 2008, 01:15 AM) those are ur data connections service. You'll be surprised at how they can upgrade ROMs bro... E - means EDGE G - GPRS 3G - 3G H - HSDPA it changes when you dont have certain signals in certain areas. and detecting the available strongest data coverage signal. having that logo doesnt mean that you are connected to ur data connection service. but when you are. the SMALL ANTENNA above ur SIGNAL BARS will change to E/G/3G/H denoting what kind of data connections you are connected with. Added on November 12, 2008, 1:18 am hehe.... i did mention earlier i was using atom life i believe VIVA or any other pda devices alike cannot upgrade the stock rom. |
