QUOTE(maxtek @ Nov 7 2008, 09:04 PM) The fellow so long still haven't tell us how much he got it for... Zzz... after the reply went to work lahh....hahaha...price? RM1299...the retail price. bought it at lowyat htc shop near the coffee bean and Big Apple Donut... hmmm...can some1 tell me or confirm is my SMS/MMS store in my SimCard or Memory Card? compare to my old Nokia hp i can easily determine that via an option. but not this. i just wanna ensure/confirm all my SMS/MMS is store within my memory card instead of my SimCard. QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Nov 8 2008, 02:01 AM) But can we save ringtones in removable storage? At the Setting > Memory side it stated the following:-These are specs I got from th product page Memory ROM: 256 MB RAM: 128 MB (not used for storage of course) thats a lot of sms's already +removable storage, its fairly decent for a non-3g user like me Storage Total: 80.79MB In use 19.53MB Free 61.26MB Program Total: 107.18MB In use: 49.91MB Free: 57.27MB so not sure if the storage area of 61.26MB is sufficient for my hundreds plus of sms. |

QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Nov 8 2008, 05:14 AM) You know even the touch 3g coming out only has 256MB of memory. i have not installed any program on my own atm....so all those r pre-installed ones.Total viva memory=80.79+107.18 is not equal to 256MB as advetised in their product sheet. Man where did they extra 50MB go?? Can you put programs in the removable storage? maybe if you move it you might get more room. and since i'm new to this sort of techie stuff...i'm not sure how to do that... bahh..maybe i can backup my sms in the PC instead... Added on November 8, 2008, 8:42 amthe new 3G only better features compare to Viva is 3G capabilities, faster processor (528Mhz) and bigger RAM 192MB. QUOTE(Baronic @ Nov 9 2008, 09:16 AM) its useful for basically storing data. anything PIM related, contacts, messages, calendar, is stored on the device itself. errr...what is PIM?contact, sms, calendar on the device? wif just 256MB?? why cant they just let me store it on a bigger storage space... when u say data - i'm assuming microsoft office related data then...perghh... Added on November 9, 2008, 4:24 pm QUOTE(maxtek @ Nov 9 2008, 09:20 AM) as i've mentioned b4. not for storing music/video since i got another device for that oredi...This post has been edited by karwaidotnet: Nov 9 2008, 04:24 PM |

what does the E means on the top-right hand of the screen along wif the signal strength, battery power, etc? there is a time i notice it change to G by itself...then a moment later back to E
i'm suspecting it means Edge and GPRS but then i'm not downloading/uploading anything... |
