Judging by the way you talk, I can only guess you have been using the same words for every girls you have met in your life and each and every one of the girls walked right straight out of your life.

You also said it's a skill, don't have it can always learn. Why there are even institution and books teaching us how to do so. If you know that if you type it that way gonna get you flamed, why type it? Or is it that you like being flamed so much?

Boys sweet talk to girls are known as flirting. Boy did this and if the girl likes it, the boy will move to the next stage by trying to reveal a little data about himself so the girl can too reveal some of hers.
If you're worried that your boyfriend is flirting, tell him straight at his face that you didn't like him "flirting", "caring", "talking" to other girls. If the guy looks like "WTF?" or "HUH?" or even "You controlling my life?"... maybe then its where you start consulting with your friends to think of a strategy?
