i would put the cabinets against the bathroom wall, to come out up to the beam or past the beam, so as to minimise the effect of the beam.

Where is north? (trying to apply some feng shui) that is the pipe location .. u can ignore it. No need to worry abt north .. most important .. can we sleep underneath a beam? |

the plan looks funny though. I would put the bed on the opposite side of the 5 feet window, and cabinet against the en-suite.

QUOTE(KronenZerg @ Sep 17 2008, 03:54 PM) Would like to ask everyone opinion .. KronenZerg,How do u intend to put in a king size bed and cabinets if the structure is per attached? If you are Chinese, you NEVER place your bed in such a way that when you sleep, you feet is facing the main entrance. Dreamer |

Yes, i am chinese .. i intend to put the kingsize bed at the facing the bathroom. Wardrobes, prob in the center, where the beam is situated.
Looks a bit cramp but at leaset my feet would not be facing straight to the 4ft entrance. |
