Is there anyone out there having any idea on the BEST LAN chatting application? which can also allows transfering files at the same time just like msn. Reason being for intranet use only. Recently I saw one at this link : http://software.techrepublic.com.com/abstr...px?docid=254099 ...anyone have better idea?

Actually if you use XP, Network Chat is already installed. Here's how you use it

How to chat with other XP users on your network

1.Click Start | Run
2.Type winchat
3.Click Conversation | Dial
4.Type in the name of the computer you want to communicate with, or choose it from the drop down list
5.Click OK
6.Type your message in the top half of the chat window
