I jst join Touch 3G family too

For the weather thingy, i think is not capture data from WIFI, is from your GPRS / EGGE.
i tried to update, it works (but... dun think its useful.. )

I had a question to ask, regarding the LED indicator light on top on the phone. I understand that if got un-read sms/miss call the green LED will blink.

But how about BlueTooth? WIFI? will it blink in others color such as blue? or no such thing?

Because i turn on my bluetooth tarak any indicator light for it... jst curious

Had to do hard reset ka... hmm, had to restore back up file again then.

Btw, i really tot the LED light got more option instead of only GREEN only

(anyway, any tips for the device you had found?)

i bought my T3G lower than 1999, Got freebie - screen protector, car charger, SonicGear 2GO minispeaker, 4GB SanDisc memory card..

well, i not sure is it good to tell the shop name or not, but i can let u know is "P*A-Exp***".... u might get it from Digital Mall / Sunway Pyramid (top floor new wing there).

Its all depends how u bargin... but what i told u before, is really what i get

Tested on my T3G, it works~ hahaha..
so noneed scared when wifi dc and try to connect by edge.. gg~
let me spread this software out with my colleague too~ sure like it wan.. gg~

apply to existing / new user, apply for Rm150 plan
and can get the phone for RM1399

but do think wise before you apply oh~ think 12 month ..think future~

the rubber casing model : KE850
bought it Rm10
at lowyat, erm... forget which floor le, some shop like selling alot spare parts,battery, casing. (somewhere around inside..)

the top part of screen is covered by rubber, where u cant see full of ur start - signal - X - close button.
Side wise is all okie, no covered by rubber.

you may cut abit on top part, but beware..cos the rubber is thick.

For me, jst a temp solution until the real casing comes out

yours last for 3-4 days, not bad

mine around 2-3 days, running some interface application...

If heavy use (wifi + bluetooth + etc..) + , around 1 day ++ can juice up the battery..

i tested the Alarm, set for it and turn off device totally.
It will not rang...

guess i had to use 3rd party alarm le~

I jst back from Singapore.

Went shopping around and had found a rubber casing for my Touch3G (@ vivoCity).

Jst to share with u guys...

** it cost me S$12
** its not totally FIT.. but for me its ok for the temp... (the overall shape is ok, but i think they missjudge the thickness for the device when making the rubber... rubber is too small for the device)
** 2 color available - white & black

haha.. not the orange pouch ( i use that pouch to keep my PDA anyway, soft enough)

I had tested with 1st / 2nd edition HTC Touch casing, is totally loose..
This casing i bought , it written (TOUCH 3G) on the little card board.. so i no doubt for it... ( i bought it on the spot and rushing to catch cable car to sentosa island... didnt test with it.. )

the device ...is little too fat for the casing as mention... i try to keep fit (took out the back cover and slot into it, but still fail to fit in the rubber )

Well, i understand its ugly..
but i m a careless guy, and am affraid of dropping the phone and causes some UN-expected marks on the device.

( oh yeah, i drop my previous phone too once a while.. )

for the time being... jst need to protect it >"<
Leather pouch is kinda big for me.. very bulky when i slot into my jeans..

I got the condom for this device... but the device is too big for the condom ( i did post the pic before in this thread)..

Go File Explorer, locate the "FILE" in phone storage.

- TAP & HOLD on the file name, the submenu will come out. You can choose Cut / Copy as you wish

or

- select the file name, press MENU (on the bottom right corner), select Edit, choose Cut / Copy

Once you selected the action = Cut / Copy, click on the Drop Down List on your top left corner. (Below your windows ICON , it might be showing My Device) Select Storage Card.

And place the file where you wanna save at...

For Ringtone in device it self, for my is locate at Windows/Rings

Phone book wise i not sure, as i didnt use the phone book in device ( i jst use the SIM phone book)

erm, so far my charging no problem, no matter IDLE charge or Off charge also fine. (When charging is Orange, finish is Green)

PDA expert no told me about extended warranty... Any idea they offer such extended warranty ?

Nope..

When do hard reset, means your device will back to default setting = new device which all ORIGINAL settings (no fancy stuff, no contact, all just like BRAND NEW)
