1 thing i wish to know is, when browsing internet, is this pda phone able to change to landscape mode for wider viewing?

the standard package should have extra 1 stylus rite?

actually i wish to check with all owners here, wat's included inside the standard package? coz i might go pcfair buy this pda tomorrow.

yeah the only really down side of t3g is it can't make video call... if not i think it's quite perfect spec wise...

i oso bought from pcfair with 1 year extended warranty... actually how does sis know we have purchased extended warranty? i bought from pdarena they said anything can bring back to them and they will help me do warranty... but wat happen if i go straight to sis?

Added on December 20, 2008, 10:52 amah yeah... i heard there's a program tat can make the screen to change to landscape mode when using opera... is there really such program? t3g cannot configure to change to tat rite?

Well, i check carefully the receipt and 1 more warranty receipt again, and i notice the warranty actually is covered by Mobisure... then when i went pyramid shopping today i pretend drop by to ask about the pouch then ask ask them bout the warranty, they said mobisure is some sub contractor for SIS... can some1 verify that mobisure is an authorised agent for warranty thing? Coz it's really weird since pdaexpert gives warranty from SIS...

so far haven't encountered shell32 error, but i encounter wat service.exe error. And the phone become laggy now, althou the touchflo interface is still very smooth.

Er is turning on and off the phone same as soft reset?

when the phone is fully charged, the orange led light will be gone or turn yellow (i've forgotten which 1) rite?

I just check with SIS, this mobisure thing is not related to them. and SIS is offering rm35 for extended warranty for pcfair purchases! damn i paid almost 80 bucks for this mobisure which is so unknown!

I just registered there... But the webform is really not user friendly. After u submit, it just direct u back to the support page rite? Never gave any feedback message like register success o not... I wonder is that form really working.
Did you get any mail from them regarding this? I actually called SIS, they said registering online is same as sending the reply card...

@Veilz regarding the online registration of product warranty, i actually emailed them and they called back the next day and informed me that that form actually works... it is in their system oledi, but we still need to keep the receipt as a proof.

I notice that i cannot send mms and use gprs. i dun activate my 3g service, and during the first bootup i actually selected to connect using maxis 3g instead of just maxis. Is that the cause of the prob? How do i change back to just maxis? now i see all the connections in the network settins are maxis3g wap, mxis3g mms... etc...

for normal mms and gprs why must activate 3g service?
Previously on my previous phone all can do mms and gprs w/o 3g activation....

i wanna ask whether u guys get 3G icon on ur phone? i'm staying in puchong and work at bukit jalil, and i nvr recall getting 3G icon or H at all... mostly is E,G and sometimes no data connection at all...
I selected Maxis3G for my connection... isit a hardware prob?

hm... my t3g now got that battery charging prob... the led remains at orange even after charging for long time.... turn it off, then only will it turn green...

i bring along the purchase receipt, but the gal at the counter nvr asked for it... just scanned the barcode on the phone then ask me to write down the problem...

anyway, i got my phone back today... they said they had tested with 2 batteries and had no prob with it... can turn green... but i have requested them to update the rom... so all they have changed is just update the latest rom...
i will monitor how it goes again...
Even thou i fear it is the hardware that caused it but i suspect it could be the software... coz if i turn it off, after a few minutes it will turn green...

The latest rom now have google maps and a google map search tab in the touchflo bar... SMS font size is bigger too... But i feel the scroll in touchflo is not as smooth as it used to... lag a wee bit with the scrolling animation.... and i dunno why active sync keep appearing in the program switching menu, even thou i have not launch it.....
