hey guys...was wondering which is better between HTC Touch 3G & Touch2? currently Touch 3G's price has dropped to RM1299
whilst Touch2 is RM1599...diff of RM300 gives u WM6.5, 3.5mm jack, zoom bar, increased RAM&ROM, etc....
any advice?

btw, does Touch 3G supports video calling (wondering bout this, since it doesn't have secondary camera)?

Go for T2 w bigger rom & ram + wm6.5, I think u could get it around 1.2-1.3K or lower fr some guys bought it as special promotion price @ sunway.

yup... HArdSPL + 6.5 works just fine... i'm currently using pdaviet rom v23

Hmm installed Garmin XT on the Touch 3G,able to get GPS fix but no indication or reaings from GPS info.Again is it a problem with the new gen HTC with its own GPS module?

My Garmin XT no problem at all. probably u want to relook into way u install Garmin XT.

R U using Hspl 2.3 olinex? keep saying server down, ady disabled firewall & antivirus.

Manual also got error saying USB connection problem, but actually usb connection working fine

U got other Hspl to share?

Now a happy PDAviet v25 user. Like it a lot.

Added on November 1, 2009, 9:31 amAfter 2 days on wm6.5.1 I would say ichiban much much better then wm6.1. The only draw back now is qwerty keyboard, wish got more options.
Everybody here should try it, it makes ur T3G feel just right.

I was trying to download the Maxis phone setting into my HTC 3G. However the phone was requesting an authentication code. May I know what is the default authentication code? I couldn't find any in the supplied user manual. Thanks.

dunno wats dat? I mean like notebook, you can like switch the rams and stuff..more happening la.

I doubt it's possible. components insides are put together by machine. U can open up ur X1 2 see.

maybe some1 knows how 2 do dat, not me, can't help u on dat 1.

me just flash diff custom rom so dat it feels diff now & then.
