any chance you could pick wifi signal ?

to apply streamyx, you could try calling 100, instead of going to TMpoint.

i tried to use maxis 3g data unlimited at genting first world hotel before, and its perfectly reach more than 2M speed at 13th floor,
so far i know 3g data unlimited plan are no capped at any bandwidth as i personally download more than 50GB per month,
as for maxis BB, it also update it capped to 20GB or more or what unofficially, you can try to ask "sifu" at maxis BB tread.

what i suggest is try before use, better sign a no contract brodband smile.gif

Hey guys, I wanna ask if I can use Celcom Broadband at Genting Highlands?
Most probably, I will be away for a conference in Genting Hotel next month, might need Internet connection there. smile.gif

Try to use rm8/day unlimited celcom bb. Then u know the actual performance celcom bb. but for speed 384kbps oni. sweat.gif If 384kbps no lag/slow at all, then try celcom 3.6mbps. Sure u will get the satisfied speed. But FYI, if testing using phone the speedtest quite slow. Better get bb modem. But make sure no signing contract. If not u will suffer later. cry.gif

manage to play around 3G video maxis-2-maxis

maxis-2-celcom, failed to establish 3G video.

that was 1-2 year ago, hope they fix the problem smile.gif

btw you can call celcom CS, and ask for coverage in genting "ask up to which floor & which hotel"

if you don't mind hanging around the lobby section free wifi "starbuck"

or else get Maxis Utopia WLAN RM5-15 daily/14days

good luck with yr pick smile.gif

Same likes d68. But the speed quite impressive. 3.6mbps. thats all. 5gb quate depends on luck.
