How about a discussion on Talent Builds in the upcoming patches.

• What talent build are you planning to use?
• Raid, PvP or Leveling (later on when WoTLK hits)?

Let's use WoWhead's Talent Build Calculator (http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent). The Blizzard one is very laggy for us.

for lock pve im going afflic or demo. pvp afflic+SL

illidan mode imo, warlock in mail armor + shadow bolt volley + self immolate melee ticking for 500-700 is pretty damn retarded

Meh. Been testing on the PTR and no Hunter spec is really that far apart in terms of DPS and mana issues. BM can't really test cos the Training Dummies have no armour, so DPS figures are out. Dr Boom on the other hand is getting his ass kicked. He's getting killed faster than ever in his life with people camping him. Even with the new talents, almost 0 DPS increase on Boom. Meh =(

Gotta love the new revamp Prot Paladin spec.

i wonder how you can generate rage with 3.5++ weps on hand with 15% chances to miss...

The more I play with the talent calculator and read EJ forums, the more my head is hurting....

Chaos Bolt goes through shields like Ice Barrier, CloS, priest shield etc.. But doesn't go through immunities like Ice Block and Pally's Bubble.

im so going to lol at warlock who specced illidanform... they are so going to get turned evil by me...

i'm glad they really2 buffed holy priest for PVE

also, after scroll through the beta warlock forum, there seem to be ALOT of flip-flop on warlock talent tree
(that maybe why blizz warlock talent calculator hasn't updated yet. example: demon form: CM said we get to keep our minion, but talent calculator said our minion will be dismiss)
some are pretty good changes, other are the way blizz always wanted to...

P.S. are MMOchampion news accurate? they seem to announce changes alot faster than blizz

fair enough. even my main as a warlock(orc ... so i made a mistake of not roll an undead, but orc shoulder still looks cool, we get to wear tauren size shoulder), i too hate to be fear.

yeah, i do think turn evil would work on demon form.
but its gonna be hard to turn evil on a demon spec lock when they have that knowledge,
the only chance you get to do it is in:
a) BG, when they are force pop demon form to save themself from rogues,
b) they didn't realize there is a pally near by...
c) they are noob/slow learner
d) the"Illidan fanboys" that keep spam them when they have the chance, "LOL, I'm Illidan! Cool!"

i personally think in WOTLK there will be very few player spec Demon form for PVP purpose,
45sec duration just too short, but its enough for defence purposes, to escape stunlock etc
and i certainly don't like the permanent transformation suggested by some player.

Well you never know how many Illidan fanbois are out there, and im soo going to eat each and every one of em (unless they QQ and make blizz change Illiform just a demonic plastic w/ humanoid spec).

So far its good news i heard over the beta side of the game

Putting aside my lock for the moment to level a pally. Going holy at 80 and maybe shockadin for PvP. ^.^

there gonna be ALOT of QQ, its not from paladin's turn dead, but from other warlock spells
not only its "banish"able(with some degree of resist)
its "ENSLAVE"able

this means DO NOT do arena with a metamophsis lock. when 2V2 become 3V1
metamophsis is definetly PVE only.

in ptr meta cannot be turned undead...
