1. Pros: Most effective. If fully copper base will have even more improvement. Cons: might need to place on top of the clip.
2. Pros: Easy to install, average effectiveness. Cons: Need to use 3M Thermal Conductive Tape and might fall if not properly taped.
3. Pros: Effective for Cheap Tower Heatsink. Cons: Least Effective. Not recommend it since the improvement is not huge.
Warning: Doing this might void your HSF warranty (but heatsink as you know it won't spoil just the fan will).
