QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Sep 15 2008, 11:21 AM) Is not just the chip buddy, the BIOS also impact a lot in oc performance. I'm using the latest BIOS that support overclocking DDR2-1333 from GIGABYTE (if you using GIGABYTE MB, you can download it from GIGABYTE website). Before with old BIOS i never touch this speed |

hi benny.which bios you are using?f7 or beta?
i have a problem to clock with f7 when using 2.0V and below. quite hard for me to get good timing on 2.0V with my team ram. best is 4-4-4-12 ddr900 2.0V on team xtreme ddr800 cl4. but on high voltage for benching, it's flying high with max ddr1350 cl5 2.7vDimm..any idea? coz i'm still trying to find the best speed and timing for below 2.0V for 24/7 usage.. anyway, f7 did show a big improvements in ram clocking compared to previous bios that i used(f6h)..thumbs up to gigabyte.. |
